How to destroy a culture

Arthur Schlesinger said the way to destroy a culture and manufacture a new one is to destroy its history. Our schools are doing just that. Teachers used to teach kids about the great things America had accomplished about our heroes, that patriotism is a good thing, that to love and respect the flag and their country; now they teach internationalism and denigrate our former great men and women from Columbus to Thomas Jefferson to Andrew Jackson. Our colleges no longer require a single course in American History to graduate. Socialists and Marxist elitist have infested our major universities to make the anti-American liberal circle of leftist culture complete. William Buckley said he would "rather be governed by the first 2,000 names in the Boston phonebook than the faculty at Harvard." The other ingredient in destroying a culture is to destroy its religious core. The Liberals have made a good deal of progress in that by eliminating prayer in schools, references to God in our everyday life, removal of the ten commandments from public places, banning nativity scenes. Now, we have a president and a one-party government, unconcerned about public desires, who is clearly intent upon moving the nation into a Socialist system as fast as possible while the totalitarians are in control.
