Destructive path of Liberalism

This lesson is more than understanding the cause of the collapse. We know that Democrats such as Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and Maxine Waters forced, through legislation, the banks to make tens of thousands of risky mortgage loans to unqualified buyers and that, inevitably, those loans came crumbling down bringing our economy with it. The deeper lesson is more fundamental – the essential harm that the liberal philosophy of the Democrat Party has done to our country. Liberals believe in equality of outcome which is not at all what our founding fathers put in our Bill of Rights – equality of opportunity. This liberal misinterpretation is one of the reasons they believe the Constitution is a changing document that they can modify according to the current mood of the government. In the name of equal outcome, they have no qualms about exercising the Marxist philosophy of confiscating the earnings of some and giving it to others. They practice social engineering in the name of equality of outcome, and racism in the form of racial quotas and entitlements. They are responsible for the asinine political correctness that gets in the way of a free society. They have unwittingly destroyed the family unit in the name of welfare and low cost housing developments. Obama is the most liberal president in our history and he already gives indications of taking further down the destructive path of Liberalism.
