Bye-bye liberty, hello totalitarianism. Senior White House adviser/hatchet-man David Axelrod appeared on Face the Nation Sunday and the interviewer asked him about all the Americans attending the "Tea Parties." He replied that the anti-spending, anti-high taxes movement is an "unhealthy reaction to the tough economic climate facing the country.”
He said it was unhealthy for "an American to go out and hold a sign and say 'I think my taxes are too high.'” Have you got that? Unhealthy for Americans to disagree with the runaway Democrat spending of taxpayer money? Welcome to totalitarianism. Stalin thought it was unhealthy for Russians to disagree with Communist dogma….and, sure enough, it was. A few weeks ago, President Empty-suit suggested to a group of Republican Congressmen that they would be better off not listening to conservative talk radio shows. University faculty and students regularly destroy the announcements, boycott, and shout down Conservative speakers and preventing them from speaking on campuses. Yet, Noam Chomsky, one of the two or three most rabid anti-American college professors in the country recently spoke at University of California. This is the man who traveled all the way to Lebanon to lend support to the terrorist group Hezbollah.
