California has higher taxes, yet a larger deficit than any other state. Something is terribly wrong with this situation, and that situaton is that an all Democrat state government that has shown itself to be inept, incompetent, and corrupt, cannot accomplish anything except thousands of burdensome laws that do nothing but remove a few more freedoms, drive small businesses out of state, and destroy the economy. I cannot imagine why anyone, with the ability to do so, would continue to live in a place that has such confiscatory taxes and such a self-destructive legislature. Nice weather can only make up for so much crap in one’s life.
