It seems there are frequently two separate news stories that appear on the scene on the same day whose juxtaposition shouts irony.
Venezulean president, Hugo Chavez, who last month pushed through his own referendum allows him to become president for life, made a couple of declarations. He vowed he would make a model Socialist state. He also appointed a commission to determine the news organizations that were critical of him and close them down. The other story is that Obama assigned a hit team of Rahm Emanuel, Paul Begala, and James Carville whose job is to destroy conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh, because Limbaugh is their strongest and most popular critic. The DemPols have been after Limbaugh for years with character assanination, ficticious stories, threats against stations that carry his program, and flat-out censorship in the name of the ironically named Fairness Doctrine. The three character assasins are long-time hired guns who worked for the infamous Clinton war roon and give deceit a bad name. Obama and crowd are taking on the tenents of a totalitarian government. They are pushing America into a Socialist welfare state with the huge spending bills, redistribution of income, the imposition of government into major businesses including banks, investment companies, and car companies. In the process, they are destroying the economy. The stock market has dropped from 13,500 to 6800 since Barack Hussein Obama became the front-runner for the Presidency.
