DemPols Showing their colors

Since Patrick Moynihan retired in 2001, the count has remained at zero, and the new regime validates the deficiency daily. Democrat politicians do not have a monopoly on duplicity and corruption, but they seem to be the biggest pigs in the sty. Some pundit said, “A good politician is as unthinkable as an honest burglar.” Public officials do not enter politics to do public good, they do so to sell their services to the highest bidders and attain wealth and power. There are exceptions, but the average politician is an unethical self-serving lawyer who cares nothing about the public, the economy, or educating the young. He cares about pandering to the special interests so that they will vote him back into office at election time. The DemPols are showing their colors with the huge spending bills advertised as stimulus for the economy but do nothing of the sort. They did not allow the opposition to debate the issues or even allow them in the resolution committee. The colossal pork packages do grow the government, however, and reward DemPol special interest groups who keep the bureaucrats in power.
