They are now obsequious cheerleaders for Obama, activists instead of reporters – sycophants instead of analysts – toadies instead of investigators. The major media through ignorance and irresponsibility typically magnifies and inflates bad news, and there is such a strong psychological component in the public perception of the economy, that the media has constantly worsened our economic problems, starting during the Bush years when the economy was healthy. Now that the left wing is running our country, the media has been a positive booster of the worst spending bill the bureaucrats have thrust upon the American people since the New Deal. The press has been instrumental with the scare tactics and misinformation that takes advantage of public fear in the way that FDR similarly used to saddle Americans with New Deal unconstitutional acts. The press that was once called the “government watchdog” is now Obama’s government guard dog.”
