Learning from mistakes

It is not likely to happen, but Obama should take a lead from the leaders of other countries.

He should take the advice of a philosopher who said, a smart person does not learn from his mistakes; he learns from the mistakes of others. Vladimir Putin, former President and current Prime Minister of Russia, recently spoke in public regarding our economic troubles and the world’s woes, warned and advised Obama not to take America into Socialism. He said Russia has tried it, it did not work, and his country has paid dearly for the mistake. Even Canada, worse than the U.S. about trying everything else before doing the right thing, have incorporated a payroll tax holiday and discovered how quickly the economy snaps to life when the bureaucrats leave more income in the pockets of consumers and small businesses. Severely cutting taxes is what Jughead should have done before anything else if he genuinely wanted to spur business activity. I fear Obama and crowd are more interested in creating more government control and enlarging our dependent class. The so-called stimulus bill will do nothing for months and most of the abomination will provide no stimulus at all.
