Everybody loses

House Republican Leader John Boehner said the $790 billion dollar pork pantheon bill – one that only Democrat lawyer politicians would dare to call a stimulus - was all about jobs, jobs, jobs but is only about spend, spend, spend.

He threw the 1071 page piece of trash on the House floor in disgust. Not a single had time to read the bill. One Congressman said they just had to sign and cross their fingers.
The Associated Press, always right there serving the Democrats’ propaganda needs, said the bill was “a major victory for Obama.” This statement, of course, is not only biased, it is not true. It is, however, a good example of how bias has destroyed journalism. This statement, presented as news, is an opinion of the news. Here is another opinion: the bill was a failure for Obama – a completely partisan brute force effort that the Dems rushed to a vote before the public learned too much about it. Obama promised the voters he would unite America and bring a new spirit of bi-partisanship. It was almost unprecedented that not a single House Republican and only three Senators – the three who always vote with the Democrats - approved the bill. Everybody lost with this monument to deception except the Democrats who caused the economic collapse in the first place. Now, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Charles Shumer, Maxine Waters, etal will now get their gluttonous hands on all that taxpayer money because of the bill they wrote. Taxpayers lose. Our children lose with the huge debt they must pay. The elderly lose when inflation devalues their savings. Businesses lose because of the overbearing government restrictions. Pretty ironic.
