I am concerned folks – concerned about my savings, the economy, and my children and grandchildren’s future.
Barack Obama does not know what he is doing. During the campaign, he promised us everything, freebies by the truckload, milk and honey, gold in the streets. Now, he is scaring the wits out of us by not just lowering our expectations but throwing us into panic with his statements such as, “Potentially we've got trillion-dollar deficits for years to come," and "I understand that some might be skeptical of this plan. Our government has already spent a good deal of money but we haven't yet seen that translate into more jobs or higher incomes or renewed confidence in our economy." He is planning a huge growth in government and corresponding outrageous expenditure of taxpayer money. Michelle Malkin said of the clueless Obama’s "American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan:" if he had to obey truth in advertising, he would have to call it, “The Generational Theft Act of 2009." The corrupt media and DemPols ripped the hide off Bush because of his deficit; Jughead is about to create a deficit three times as large – one with which our kids will suffer down the road. Every dollar that the government takes from a business or individual to create more government and make-work jobs is a dollar lost to business, investment, and healing the economy. Here are a couple of elements of Jughead’s plan: add 600,000 jobs to the bloated, bungling government; my, what a good idea. He plans to raise capital gains tax at a time when we should encourage investment, not discourage it. Not aware that when you tax an activity, you get less of it, he wants to raise corporation tax at a time when we should lower tax on corporations to encourage growth and investment in plants, materials, and people. We already have the second highest corporate tax in the world. He plans to give a business tax break for every new worker hired. Businesses are laying off workers in droves because sales are down and they can no longer afford to employ existing workers, let alone hire new ones. Has the man never taken an economics class, or is this merely part of a plan to, once and for all, eliminate the free market system and democracy in America?
