The hustlers

The DemPols are hustling an additional huge economic recovery package.

Translation: taking more money out of the pockets of taxpayers, their children, and their grandchildren and spending it on waste, pet home-state projects, and sham tax relief. I read that the bill includes nearly one million dollars to build a disk golf course. It is Orwellian. Always there with the class envy weapon, the DemPols are highlighting “tax relief” for the lower 40% of the public; this is clearly nothing more than welfare for the group that pays no taxes. An increase in welfare payments and an extension in welfare never have and never will cure a recession or decrease unemployment. Such actions always prolong the recession and cause more unemployment but succeed in their goal: garner underserved favor and votes from a segment of the public. Here are a couple of economics axioms: the quickest way to spur the economy is to let the people who pay taxes - the people who make the economy go – keep more of their own money, not give it to welfare recipients and not to bungling self-serving bureaucrats, With no government interference, money will flow to its most productive purpose.
Always covering their butts, the good old boys are serving up a healthy dose of lowered expectations with the ridiculous bill. They are hitting the talk show circuit reminding us that things will get worse before they get better, and the recovery will take a long time.
