Is that the angels singing?

Barack Hussein Obama’s sanctification speech did not surprise.

He spoke in platitudes and facile phrases that sound great but mean absolutely nothing - another campaign speech. For example, what did he mean with the phrases, “we have duties to ourselves” and “it is a new era of responsibility?” He said, “We now begin work of remaking America.” Yes, remake it into France: big incredibly inefficient government, high taxes, high deficit and inflation, limited individual rights, an unmanageable population of belligerent minorities, and socialized medicine. The latter must concern Canadians who come down to the States for medical care that they are unable to get it under their own government-controlled system. I understand it takes two years in Canada, and impossible in France, to get a knee replacement, and an MRI is out of the question. Oppressive government control has caused Canadian physicians to flee and practice in the U.S. This has caused the abandoned country to have a serious shortage of doctors and nurses which, of course, has worsened the problems. Someone said, if you think medical care is expensive in the U.S., wait until you see how expensive it is with a government system in unavailability of services, waiting times, poor quality care, and bureaucratic grief. The chill-up-the-leg Obamaites think, in addition to free health care for all, the economy will immediately respond, the troops will start coming home from Iraq, the environment will become pristine, the angels will sing, and life will be wonderful…..Don’t count on it.
