Like a newly crowned monarch, our new President started his time at the throne immediately with a couple of presidential proclamations. The first was that he will close Guantanamo no later than one year from today. It confused Jughead that a person in the pressroom had the temerity to actually ask an important question. Somehow, among all those ersatz news people who have long since gone in the Obama tank, an actual newsman stepped up and asked the following: If we capture a terrorist, Osama bin Laden for example, what then are we supposed to do with him, without a Guantanamo? Jughead hadn’t considered this and asked his chief handler who replied that they would have to get back to us. Long live the King, but don’t ask him any hard questions.
