Since the final weeks of the election, and with the troubled economy, and, just recently, the scandal of Illinois Governor Slime-ovich’s attempt to sell to the highest bidder Obama’s vacated senate seat, there is an absence of any serious discussion of global warming.
Oh sure, our corrupt media, always on the lookout for bad news, attaches the phrase “global warming” to any article remotely linked to the environment. Tens of thousands of Americans long ago bought into the pseudo-science global warming fraud that environmental zealots such as Al Gore and various anti-American groups peddle for a living. Once the general public buys into something like this, it sticks forever, requiring a significant emotional event to expunge it. It matters none that more scientists are pointing out that we haven’t actually experienced any global warming in almost ten years, and that we may be entering the regular cycle of global cooling. In fact, the enviro-nuts were pushing the global cooling scam in the mid seventies. The litany went as follows: Man has so polluted the atmosphere and cut down so many trees that the fewer trees were insufficient to do their natural job of consuming the increased carbon dioxide that man had created. The enviro-nuts said this caused the dreaded “greenhouse effect,” which blocks the sun and is taking us into a life-destroying period of “global freezing.” We had a period of cooling, then we had a period of warming, and now that has ended. Many third world countries are still relentlessly pushing the man-made warming canard with things such as the Kyoto accord as a way to milk billions out of the U.S.
