Live and learn?

OK, Liberals. You 52 percent have voted into office the most liberal member of the Senate.

This will complete the trifecta of a left-wing senate, an inept liberal house of representatives, and, now, presidency. With this control, it will be easy to select liberal judges, as the old members retire, and fulfill your dream of slipping in every manner of law that takes away more of our liberty and turn over more control of our lives to the bureaucracy. The Democrats have already devastated our economy with the Community Reinvestment Act that required banks to make risky loans to minorities, and with the press in their pocket and an all-Democrat congress, there will be no inquiry, and those responsible will never have to answer for the mess they have made. Since the special interests such as the teachers unions, labor unions, trial lawyers, enviro-zealots own the Democrat party, we can forget about school innovation, tort reform, or cleaning up the bloated government. The unions will be able to attain their goal of coercing workers to join the union. The good old Democrat boys will surely pass the unfairness doctrine that will go a long ways toward stifling any criticism while they stuff their pockets and the pockets of their special interest pals. Oh well, It is what it is; the 52 percent have chosen, and now we will all live with the results. They say we live and learn. Writer Thomas Sowell said, “Often what we learn is what damn fools we have been.”
