Take a look at Europe

It just doesn’t seem fair, even to a public so uninvolved it elected a man who has already reached his level of incompetence as a U.S. Senator. We have selected a leader who has a long history of associations with people who hate America. A man who, through ignorance or intent, is hell bent on transforming America into a socialist state. Obama’s every public statement now seems to confirm his socialist philosophy.
After WWII when the Soviet Union was forcing western European countries into socialist governments, Winston Churchill admonished that, “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy, its inherent value is the equal sharing of misery.” In the interim, take a look at Western Europe, France or Germany, for example; they provide a glimpse into what we have in store: general socialism with double digit unemployment, particularly among young adults. These young people are not worried, however, because they have lost any traces of ambition and drive to get ahead, what with free medical care – as lousy as it is – welfare payments sufficient to provide some spending money, reasonable comfort since they live with their parents, and lots of time to sit around with friends and blame America and capitalism for the sad economic situation. All they have to do is hang around and wait for their government-provided retirement.
