Moderator from the Left

Matthews, who was a Democrat operative for years and more recently a leftist talk TV moderator, favored Obama in the debate, but, of course, denied it. Now, we see Matthews was fired from his position as MSNBC news anchor for biased reporting. PBS journalist Gwen Ifill will moderate tonight’s vice-presidential debate, and, again, the general media are sanguine about a life-long Liberal’s ability to be fair to the Republican debater. Ifill is not only an Obama supporter, she has a flattering book about Obama coming out in a couple of months that stands to make her substantially more money if Obama is elected. She recently wrote a flattering, cloying story on the Obamas for Essence magazine that caused nary a stir even coming from a PBS commentator who is supposed to be even-handed. Ifill dismissed offhand the few conservative questions about her ability to be impartial. Michelle Malkin, one of the few conservative members of the media, said, “She’s so far in the tank for the Democrat presidential candidate, her oxygen delivery line is running out.” If Sean Hannity or Ann Coulter were selected to be the moderator, all hell would rain down because they are conservative, but, you see, Liberals never think they are biased. How could they be biased? They are merely correct.
